The rental business all started in a spur of the moment. My husband, John, and I try to get away every 3 months. In 2005 we escaped to other Oklahoma cabins for our getaway. While we were there it was like a lightbulb went off. Why couldn't we do something like this on our 60 acres, but better? After lots of dream scheming, talking and praying, we finished our first cabin, The Redbud, and it was in full operation by July 2005. Our second cabin, The Greenbriar, was complete and running by April 2006. We built these cabins from the ground up ourselves and we take great pride in them. To this day River of Love is still owned and operated by family. We are firm believers in marriage and family. I pray over these cabins that they will allow people time to reconnect with one another and with God.
