We are avid golfers and have been itching to play at the WinStar Golf Course. I’m glad we did. My game wasn’t perfect but the course is awesome to say the least. We stayed at River of Love Cabins. Wow! this is one of those fabulous romantic spring break getaways for all of those who live in the Dallas/ FT. Worth Metroplex. We didn’t think we lived so close to the Oklahoma border. It was just over an hour away. I found this place while searching for romantic spring break ideas. I surprised my husband and made him wear a blindfold the entire trip here. You should have seen the looks I got driving down the interstate. I’m surprised that we didn’t  get pulled over before we could we arrived. We had a blast cooking out-doors on the grill and the hot-tub felt great to our muscles. We will recommend this place to our friends and family members and we will see you next spring break.

While searching for a romantic spring break getaways near Dallas, I discovered this amazing jewel. Both working in education we normally share a getaway two times per year. once for fall break and once during spring break. Then a family vacation during the summer months. We don’t like to go far from home during our fall and spring breaks, because of our children and pets. This seemed to be a good fit for us. We really enjoyed the peace and seclusion that our cabin offered. The Jacuzzi tub, trail walks, and fire pit were our three favorite things. Oh yeah I forgot the hammock, make that four favorite things. We will be telling our colleagues about this place but we have first dibs on both fall and spring breaks.

I’m sure glad that we ran across this place while searching for the perfect romantic spring break trips near Dallas. We have had one of the best romantic spring break getaways of all time. The casino is sure an added bonus. (No pun intended) My wife won over four-hundred bucks. That makes us happy-happy. Also they serve one mean steak. We had the most fun here just spending some quality time alone. It’s something that’s not in our daily routine, since we have five kids between the two of us and most of them play sports. It’s a juggling act is the best way to describe it. We have really enjoyed the down time together.A perfect time to rejuvenate.

My husband was injured over four years ago in a motorcycle accident. He has been on a slow road to recovery. I can say that this place has been a long time coming.  It was one of the first romantic spring break trips since his accident and it was amazing. We both had a message, which we have never done. We loved the seclusion and the private Jacuzzi tub. Now we are thinking of putting one of those tubs in our house. What a wonderful time we had on one of our many weekend trips from Dallas. My husband and I are both professionals, who are employed at high stress jobs. This place sure does the trick when it comes to some major unwinding and R and R. We have stayed here twice now and both time were pure ecstasy. The indoor Jacuzzi works miracles on the tight muscles. I’m sure we will be returning this fall when the weather cools off. After experiencing many weekend trips from Dallas Fort Worth, this seems to be the one we most enjoy. Were not really sure if its the distance/ location (Not much over an hour away). or the seclusion. Maybe a bit of both. We have taken many over the counter weekend getaways in Dallas Fort Worth, but this one is sure tough to beat. We love it here. The hot-tub was fantastic. We also enjoyed our massages from Lori. It was George’s first real massage. I’ve tried talking him into one for many years now. I guess I finally wore him down. Now he’s already talking about scheduling a massage on a regular basis. I may have created a monster. lol We were planning on taking the scenic route to visit the Turner Falls area but never got around to it. Time fly’s when your having fun. We had a wonderful visit at this amazing place! It’s one of the most enjoyable weekend trips from Dallas Fort Worth that we’ve ever spent together. This was one of those amazing Oklahoma getaways that we will be talking about and remembering for years to come. First we want to thank our stewards for allowing us the opportunity to settle in at one of the best Oklahoma getaways in the state. Now we will give a tid-bit about our visit here. It started from our home in Oklahoma City where my husband, Jeff and I had an amazing new year beginning. While in the process of discussing our new years resolution when the phone rang. Suddenly we found out our daughter was going to have a baby. (I just had to include that). Now back to the new years resolution. While setting some modest resolutions and goals, we both decided this year we were gonna work smarter not harder. Here I won’t boar you with our personal details except the one where we agreed that we would take a mini getaway trip out of Oklahoma City, somewhere we could spend quality time together and re-connect to one another and just re-charge our batteries. A place to clear our minds and prepare ourselves for the next wave. We put our goals in writing and placed them on the refrigerator, where they would be in plain view.  While preforming a routine internet search we ran across what seemed to be a secluded and romantic place. Could this be one of those perfect Oklahoma getaways? The perfect recipe for what we’ve been longing for. Yes  that’s exactly what it is in a few words. “The perfect recipe”. We loved it so much, before we left we both vowed to each other that we would return two more times before the years end.

Our stay at the Red-Bud cabin seemed like we stepped back in time! We laughed, talked and even danced. (We haven’t danced in years). This romantic mothers day getaway surprise was a huge shock. My husband isn’t really the romantic type. I don’t know what got in to him, but i like it. This is the perfect getaway and much closer to Dallas than Roger initially thought. We enjoyed the Hot-Tub and the bliss of being alone without any disturbances of any kind. We have enjoyed staying in romantic hotels in the past but this place is different. No one running up and down the halls, running water, mowing, or making any noise. Just me and him. What a feeling. Thanks for the wonderful card and the bottle of champagne. We will return soon.

I wish we would have known about this place sometime ago! this had to be the surprise of surprises. The most romantic Mothers Day getaway, in fact the most romantic surprise that my hubby ever gave me period. I love it here. The Jacuzzi tub is amazing, It felt so good on my aching back. We saw a red cardinal pecking at our car window, he must have seen his own reflection. We roasted hot-dogs on the fire pit and shared heart felt memories of the past. This place really brings out the best in both of us. We love it so much that we are going to book a few days next month for my husbands birthday. See you soon.

What an wonderful adventure. We drove from Dallas thinking this might be an okay trip. It ended up being the most romantic mothers day getaway that I’ve ever experienced. Romantic Mothers Day Getaway

Normally my husband doesn’t do much for me on mothers day. His excuse is your not my mother. This year was obviously different. He must have finally seen the light and booked us a stay at the River of Love. We made some new tracks at the Love Train caboose! It is for sure the most romantic mothers day getaway in Oklahoma. Ben really outdone himself. I got flowers, a message, chocolate covered strawberries, and we toasted with a bottle of champagne. I don’t really know what else I could have asked for. Thank you River of Love for the hospitality, and most of all I thank my husband Ben. The love of my life. If any of you ladies out there are reading this and are saying or thinking that your husband just don’t have it in him. Don’t give up hope. I would have said the same thing last mothers day and look at me now! ha ha!!

Thank You from the bottom of our hearts! This awesome romantic Dallas getaway was the best. The champagne was also wonderful. Today we celebrated Tom’s 54th birthday as well as our 26th anniversary. This was truly a second honeymoon. My birthday is in March and we hope to visit this wonderful romantic Dallas Getaway then. We finished grilling out just in time because the storm hit and blew over a tree in the creek. The next day we saw several hummingbirds, a rabbit and a opossum paid us a visit. Tom even spotted a deer bright and early before I awoke. We cant express in words how much we’ve enjoyed the pure privacy and seclusion of this country setting. We love the Red-Bud cabin and its amazing hot-tub.

We’ve been together for seven years and I couldn’t think of a better more relaxing environment to spend our time than this romantic Dallas getaway. We really enjoyed the private massages from your mobile masseuse. The private Jacuzzi tub was heavenly to our bodies and the chocolate covered strawberries were delicious. Thanks for allowing us to extend our stay for an extra night. We really don’t want to leave this romantic Dallas getaway but we are running out of food and clean clothes. It has  been a memory building experience to say the least. Were going to make a yearly tradition to visit this romantic Dallas getaway and to celebrate our honeymoon like never before.

My husband and I are so happy to have chosen to come to The River Of Love. With our two toddlers and with the Army, it’s extremely hard to make time for ourselves. This romantic Dallas getaway was just what we needed. My husband saw his first wild turkey yesterday morning. He is from Ney York, so I’m still trying to teach him the ropes of Southern living. He is leaving for Iraq in a few short days, but he is doing what he loves to do. We enjoyed the special card that you left for us. It was perfect. Everything was so wonderful at the Red-Bud cabin. I promise from both of us that we will be back every chance we get. Joe will return from overseas in July, so we will schedule as soon as the date is for sure. Keep us in your prayers and thanks so much.

Three days ago we discovered just a little piece of heaven and just at the right time! We never left the property. We hid ourselves  away from everything and we loved every minute of it! I’m glad that there is still a place in the world where phone service is no-good. We loved not being very easy to reach. We walked to the Red River and had a picnic, we also built a fire and roasted a few smores. We cooked out every meal and frequented the hot-tub like little kids. This romantic Dallas getaway was so private, so peaceful and most of all so needed! Thank you for the memories, it’s a true gift from God. Thanks for allowing us to be apart of your vision. We will be back and we’ll tell others about this amazing place.

Thanks for sharing this romantic Dallas getaway. Our first day right off the bat we saw a huge turtle in the creek, two deer and a turkey. The nature of this place is the perfect setting to reunite with one another. We loved relaxing in the private hot-tub, cooking together and watching movies. A storm rolled in on our last morning here as we watched from the cover of the porch while drinking our morning coffee. After the storm was over we drove to the Red River but is was way to muddy for us to complete our journey. We came back to our cabin and spent the rest of the morning out-side relaxing in the hammock and reading a book. We love this place and will recommend this romantic Dallas getaway to all of our friends.

This has been a fabulous romantic Dallas getaway! We finally had the chance to visit here. We loved it and will recommend it to our friends. My husband and I both have searched for a romantic Dallas getaway. We sure are glad that we found it here in Love County. We stayed in the Green-Briar cabin. When we return we want to stay in the “Love Train”. It has been too long since our last getaway! We promised one another that we would go on more short and romantic trips throughout the year.
