We are avid golfers and have been itching to play at the WinStar Golf Course. I’m glad we did. My game wasn’t perfect but the course is awesome to say the least. We stayed at River of Love Cabins. Wow! this is one of those fabulous romantic spring break getaways for all of those who live in the Dallas/ FT. Worth Metroplex. We didn’t think we lived so close to the Oklahoma border. It was just over an hour away. I found this place while searching for romantic spring break ideas. I surprised my husband and made him wear a blindfold the entire trip here. You should have seen the looks I got driving down the interstate. I’m surprised that we didn’t  get pulled over before we could we arrived. We had a blast cooking out-doors on the grill and the hot-tub felt great to our muscles. We will recommend this place to our friends and family members and we will see you next spring break.

While searching for a romantic spring break getaways near Dallas, I discovered this amazing jewel. Both working in education we normally share a getaway two times per year. once for fall break and once during spring break. Then a family vacation during the summer months. We don’t like to go far from home during our fall and spring breaks, because of our children and pets. This seemed to be a good fit for us. We really enjoyed the peace and seclusion that our cabin offered. The Jacuzzi tub, trail walks, and fire pit were our three favorite things. Oh yeah I forgot the hammock, make that four favorite things. We will be telling our colleagues about this place but we have first dibs on both fall and spring breaks.

The casino is sure an added bonus. (No pun intended) My wife won over four-hundred bucks. That makes us happy-happy. Also they serve one mean steak. We had the most fun here just spending some quality time alone. It’s something that’s not in our daily routine, since we have five kids between the two of us and most of them play sports. It’s a juggling act is the best way to describe it. We have really enjoyed the down time together.A perfect time to rejuvenate.

My husband was injured over four years ago in a motorcycle accident. He has been on a slow road to recovery. This getaway started while searching for several romantic Dallas getaway ideas. What were the odds of locating this place? I don’t know, but I’m sure glad that we did. This has been one of the most relaxing, heart-felt, romantic weekends that we’ve ever spent together.  We absolutely loved the seclusion to just walk on the property and spend some much needed one on one time together. We have had a difficult time lately. Struggling with my husband who works out of town for two week per month. It takes a toll on a marriage, especially with children involved.  This weekend though we set aside our differences and talked through things. Were thankful for getting to stay at this Dallas romantic getaway place. I also work as a professional in the DFW area. Since we have spent this time together we made a decision together that Wade (my husband) will look for employment closer to home before life passes us by. We both know we are going to need to give up a few of our everyday luxuries but we know in the end it will be well worth it. The Jacuzzi was mind blowing and thanks for having everything set up when we got there. I’m sure we will return. I hope very soon!

This is for all of the people who are constantly searching for those perfect romantic Dallas getaway ideas. If you like privacy, seclusion, and one on one time with the one that you love, then this is the place for you. We scheduled our getaway in the middle of the week. Besides it being more affordable its the only two day that I could get off. Thank goodness my husband has a good boss that will let him take off from work on a short notice. I surprised my husband and made him wear a blindfold  until we arrived. You should have seen the looks we got on the highway. I’m shocked that the police weren’t called. I informed Kelly (our host). River of Love Cabins – Words cant express how magical this place is. We are really regretting not booking the cabin for a few more days. Three days just simply hasn’t been long enough to explore and enjoy the variety of things to do around here. We have stayed in several romantic bed and breakfast establishments around the DFW metroplex area, but the seclusion of this place fits us much better.  It’s definitely the most romantic valentines getaway near Dallas that we have ever spent together. That being said we will return soon, hopefully for my birthday (in two months). Thanks again for this wonderful romantic valentines getaway hot-spot. We will spread the word about this getaway.

This was an awesome romantic valentines getaway near Fort Worth. It is our first time here. The cabin is very beautiful, clean, and relaxing. It’s very nice to have appliances and utensils provided. It sure save us time since we were only required to bring food. We cooked on the grill and spent our time relaxing, and sharing deep emotions, and feelings with one another. Something that doesn’t happen often. We loved the private hot-tub. We also roasted marshmallows over the open fire pit. Overall we had the best  romantic valentines getaway near Fort Worth ever. We loved the delicious cookies and the champagne. We will be recommending this secluded couples getaway to all of our friends and family.

River of Love Cabins,

This romantic valentines getaway near Oklahoma City was wonderful! We enjoyed our time alone. We have been married for five and a half years and never took a honeymoon, much less a romantic valentines getaway. This it what we will always remember as our special honeymoon/romantic valentines getaway. I didn’t think my husband had it in him until I found out of this surprise trip. We didn’t see much in the way of wildlife. We spent most of our time indoors. We spent quality time here talking, laughing, and re-connecting. We both enjoyed the hot-tub, it was great. I guess we were the wildlife-ha ha! The massage therapist was professional and excellent. There are really just too many wonderful things to list about this place. There was so much put into this cabin. We are so blessed that we got to share it. We hope to visit again in the future.

Thank You so much for the use of your cabin. I have been so stressed out lately, sometimes to the point of very little sleep or food intake. My wife scheduled us a romantic valentines getaway near Dallas and it was worth it. Here I slept like never before. The in room Jacuzzi seemed to melt much of the stress away. My job really takes a toll on our lives and it’s nice to know that there is a peaceful place like River of Love to rejuvenate, rekindle, and relax. It’s kinda like a big De-Tox of the worlds grime. We are putting this place in our lives as a routine getaway escape.

I have to say; I was very surprised! This Romantic Valentines Getaway near Garland is the bomb diggidy. We had a special time while visiting the Green-Briar cabin. The indoor Jacuzzi was relaxing and the chocolate strawberries were delicious. We sure hate to leave this place and look forward to returning soon.

When I first saw that this place was located in Oklahoma, I must admit that I was disappointed to say the least. After researching the distance I realized that you were closer than I thought. This romantic valentines getaway near Dallas is a wonderful escape from the busy world. A place to re-connect and enjoy the privacy of nature, and each-other. We love it here!
